Management Concepts, Inc. is seeking an experienced Federal Acquisition Instructor/ SME deliver engaging, student-focused training and support the development and growth of our federal acquisition training portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instructor-led courses in federal acquisition and contracting.
- Teach acquisition concepts using practical, real-world federal contracting experience. Courses cover the full acquisition lifecycle, including acquisition planning, market research, solicitation, source selection, contract award, administration, and closeout.
- Provide instruction on Federal contracting methods, contract types, vehicles, and acquisition regulations.
- Stay current on FAR changes, acquisition policies, statutes, GAO and Court decisions, and other Federal contracting developments.
- Identify changes in acquisition policy and recommend updates to training materials and curriculum.
- Provide feedback and subject matter expertise to curriculum development teams.
- Support development and delivery of client-specific acquisition and contracting training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of recent Federal acquisition and contracting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Federal contracting and acquisition processes, preferably cradle-to-grave.
- Understanding of FAC-C and/or DAWIA certification programs.
- DAWIA/FAC-C Level III certification or an unlimited Contracting Officer warrant preferred.
- Recent training, facilitation, or presentation experience preferred.
- Strong communication, writing, relationship-building, and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel

Compensation: $100.00 per hour
